Katie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Texas in Austin, as well as a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She earned her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Texas in Dallas. She is American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)-certified and Texas Department of Health (DOH)-Licensed. Katie tailors each therapeutic intervention program to the child’s individual needs. She has extensive experience communicating with parents, providing referrals, working as an interdisciplinary team, incorporating sensory strategies, corresponding with school teachers, providing classroom modifications or suggestions, and being an SLP Supervisor. Katie specializes in working with children with a variety of disorders and deficits, who range in age from 2-15 years of age.
