CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

PreK-4 or 5′. Early Reading Program: (30 min or 1 hour available).
Designed for PreK & Transitional Kindergarten students. Enrich your child with the gift of a strong foundation of early literacy. Discover letter knowledge and phonics through sound/symbol games, rhyme & language/literacy enriched activities as well as early reading books. Handwriting directionality techniques are used to develop printing. Practice homework packets and take-home readers are sent home to enhance early reading skills.
*Parent Education Night – Early Reading/Writing/Phonics Classes are included in this program.

Jr. Kindergarten-Early Kinder Reading Program. Phonics, Fluency & Handwriting: (30 min or 1 hour available)
Designed for Kindergartners. Learn early literacy through a multi-sensory approach to phonemic awareness, word families and introduction to decoding words. Learn instant ‘popcorn’ words and reading fluency skill building. Emergent sentence writing plus handwriting directionality. Practice homework packets and take-home readers are sent home to enhance early reading skills.
*Parent Education Night – Early Reading/Writing/Phonics Classes are included in this program.
