A child who reaches third grade unable to read at grade level is now reading to learn, not learning to read—and every subject in school suffers as a result. Repeatedly telling that student to “read more” does not repair the missing system.

The skill that separates top students for the rest of their academic and professional lives is not memorization—it is the ability to think, argue, and reason clearly. Almost nowhere teaches it directly.
CARS applies The Reading Ranch Method™’s literature-based, live small-group instruction to logic and reasoning itself—a thought-provoking program most students never encounter until college, if ever. Students are taught a disciplined approach to examining information, weighing competing ideas, evaluating evidence, and explaining how they reached a conclusion.
